Sunday Morning

Ascension offers a weekly Sunday Church School for all ages! Classes are held every Sunday morning from 9:30am-10:30am.

Our curriculum for each age and grade level is Christ centered and developmentally appropriate. Classes are taught by volunteers and facilitated by the Director of Christian Education. All adults who work with children at Ascension are given background checks and sign our Child Protection Policy.

Beginning this year, we are using a new program called Seasons of the Spirit! This curriculum engages all age levels and makes the connection to the Bible reading heard in worship. There's even a class for parents so you can continue these conversations beyond Sunday morning!

2 & 3 year olds	Meet in the Star of Bethlehem Room
4 & 5/K year olds	Meet in the Noah's Ark Room
1^_st & 2^nd grades	Meet in the Jonah & the Whale Room
3^rd & 4^th grades	Meet in the Library
5^th & 6^th grades	Meet in the Middle School Room
7^th & 8^th grades	Meet in the front of the Great Hall
9^th - 12^th grades	Meet in the Youth Room

Childcare is available for infants and toddlers every Sunday 9:30am and 11:00am in the Shepherd’s Room near the receptionist desk.
